Holidays are the best time of the year to meet with friends and family, to spend time together and to try some yummy recipes. This holiday season, I tried making some Pumpkin crepe. This sweet crepe with Pumpkin & brown sugar with spices really puts you in holiday mood and it is super easy to make. Try this dessert this holiday season and enjoy!

  • For the batter:
  • Pumpkin/Butternut Squash cubes – 350 gms
  • Egg – 1 (if you like eggs, you can use 2)
  • Baking soda – 1 tea spoon
  • Brown sugar – 4 table spoons
  • All purpose flour – 2 cups
  • Milk – 1.5 cups
  • Butter – 1 inch cube
  • Vanilla Flavor – 2 drops
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 pinch
  • For the filling:
  • Butter – 1.5-2 inch cube
  • Brown sugar – 5 table spoons
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 tea spoon
  • Nutmeg – ¼ tea spoon grated
  • Butter

  1. First start by grinding pumpkin cubes with brown sugar
  2. Beat the egg along with couple drops of vanilla essence & a pinch of cinnamon powder
  3. Add ground pumpkin mix well
  4. Add All purpose flour, baking soda, milk and mix well
  5. In a small bowl, soften butter add brown sugar, cinnamon powder & nutmeg and mix well into a paste
  6. Now heat a griddle, spread the batter as thinly as possible
  7. Once the sides come up turn the crepe and cook it on both sides for a min each
  8. On the inside of crepe spread the butter brow sugar spices paste
  9. Fold it into a triangle, transfer to a plate
  10. Sprinkle powdered sugar, add a dollop of whipped cream
  11. Pumpkin crepe is ready to be savored with your family, Happy Holidays!
